BAY OF ISLANDS

Winter start time of 5pm.  Run 666 held in mid June, which included a celebration dinner at the Plough and Feather.  Cannibal enjoying retirement.  666 run recently celebrated. 

WHANGAREI

Last May Monday and Runny Mummy set clue run for the 12 runners and 6 walkers.   Almost back to normal for Pricky’s run on the 2nd June, followed by Hard Drive’s place on the 9th.  Consistently getting 12-16 runners & 8-12 Walkers. We are planning a BIG WEEKEND 12-13th September to celebrate our 2020th run in the year 2020. We will be booking at the Waipu Cove Campgrounds where you can book cabins or take your caravan/tents etc. Turn up on Friday for prelude drinks. Run-walk on Saturday followed by a post run bash, Sunday sober up run-walk and head home.

 

MANGAWHAI

We all survived Covid 19 and resumed normal service on Queens Birthday weekend. The weather in the winterless North has been exceptional for winter, thus far. 

We have now registered 96 runs. Our 100th run will be as a pre-lube to Nash Hash in January - Saturday 30 January.

The event will be similar to the very successful preamble to the BOI Nash Hash held on 7 February 2017. Cost for the run $10, and pay as you go for dinner afterwards. Registrations are now open. AUCKLAND (MENS )

Resumed runs after hibernation.   Good turnout on QB Monday.    Back in full swing now.  50th year of Hashing for Auckland HHH 27-31 August.   Will coincide with AGM.  Parnell RSA Friday. Run Saturday. 

Vets (MENS )

Zoom meetings during lockdown.  12 participants most Monday. 

AUCKLAND HUSSIES

Zoom meetups every Tuesday at 7pm. Hosted by Plunder.  Averaging 19  participants per meetup. Encouraging hashers to have completed their own in bubble walk or run beforehand.

Hash debating on whether lockdown meetups qualify as runs for the book.

NORWEST

Recent AGM and Loose Change is the incoming GM, taking over from Weeek.  

NORTH SHORE HUSSIES

In hibernation during lockdown.    Still waiting on news. 

WOEFULL

Having had two virtual 'runs' where everyone did a local loop from their own homes followed by a Zoom video circle, WOEFULL are back to a regular run Sunday 7th June up at Riverhead Forest.  50 Shade of Gay was the hare. 

 

Hibiscus Coast

Chatting during lockdown. 

MOOLOO

In hibernation over Lockdown but kept in touch on FB.  Now back to full hashing.  Big birthday for Waxy at the end of June.   AGPU set for Waiheke on Aug 8th.  Cock the hare and booze master. 

 

MOUNT MAUNGANUI

1st real run since lockdown was held in Humpy’s garage on QB Monday.  Apparently a very good attendance and the excitement got to many with lots of hugging and yahooing and general ignoring of social distancing !!  Recent mid June run at Bundys has Gnash in line for Run of the year. Mainly thanks to the publican Bundy pouring spirits straight from the bottle down the throats of all fines  and raffle prize recipients .  Recent Mount hashers Blue Virgin and A Blue Shun organising weekend in Gisborne 13-15 November.   AGPU on Saturday 29th August.  

SUN CITY

In hibernation over lockdown, but back now running, as advised by Noodles.  Daisy still in Rarotonga.  Noodles has done 1778 of the Hash’s 1863 runs. 

TOKOROA

Musthashless advises that hash was in hibernation over lockdown.   Now back to Sunday afternoon runs for the rest of non daylight savings time. 

ENERGY

Virtual runs with postings on walks on FB.  Some old hashers making a return. And postings from overseas Hashers.   Also Zoom circles and Messenger chats.  The hash has now been gradually stepping up as advised by Wantie.  Trying to support local.   Pub run coming up. 

TAUPO

Business as usual  -  no runs !!  Labour weekend run now being hosted by Metal and Petal. 

PANIA

Hash in hibernation during lockdown.  But now back running, albeit with small packs.  Mostly hared by Likka and Pockets.  Runs now on Mondays.   Formerly on a Sunday.   AGPU 25TH July 

PALMERSTON NORTH

Most did own walks during lockdown.  GM and Yardboy putting their runs on webpage. Also on Facebook.  Lowkey 2000TH coming up mid July.  

MASTERTON

Lockdown was hibernation but now back to normal runs as advised by Dogshit.  A bottle of Glenfiddich knocked off at recent June run.  Little Flic continuing his incredible hashing attendance.   He has only missed 17 of the Hashes 1653 runs.  

WELLINGTON Combined

A Saturday run on June 6th as a welcome back from Lockdown.  Venue Bubbles work garage.  Hares - Runners High Heels and Walkers  RV.  Over 40 there as all the hashes well represented.  Club GM’s Hash Brown, DT, K9 (stand in for Fishy), and RV contributing fines in the circle. 

WELLINGTON

AGM held near end of Lockdown as a Zoom meeting. A first for a NZ hash ??    New Ayotollah is Hash Brown with new RA’s Porkbox and Teapot.  At level three the hash had 2 weeks of three separate runs of maximum 10 attendees. Now back to normal runs.  A belated AGM celebration was held on 27TH July  -  run around the city with entertainment followed by shuttles to Pussy Puppys garage in Petone for a spitfire catering feast.  Circle jointly hosted by recent and current Ayotollahs and RA’s. 

CAPITAL 

AGPU held on June 1st.  Incoming Joint GM’s are Recycled Virgin and BS.  Chips the Baby Ayotollah.   Capital pushed the boundaries during lockdown with hares setting runs, but the hounds doing the trail solo at different times of the day.  Talk of a rescheduled 2000th in November. 

GERI'S

Facebook runs over lockdown.  Now back to full runs.  The  AGM, originally scheduled during lockdown, run by GM Fishy and his RA’s K9 and Dolly on Tuesday 23rd June.  New GM is Knockers with just one walkers RA Snapper.  B1 from Wanaka a surprise visitor. 

WELLINGTON LADIES

Lockdown was solo themed runs posted on Facebook with Zoom meetups Wednesday nights to review the days runs.   Now back to normal runs.  Halfway through the yearly cycle with GM DT and RA’s Headcase, Omo and Fire.   Chips had hip operation on 25th June.  Sunbeam knee replacement on the 24th. 

THIRSTY THURSDAY

ZOOM meetups with daytime solo runs, sometimes on same trail.   Back to themed Thursday runs at 7pm.  Near wash out on 4th June. 

 NELSON

Virtual runs on Facebook during Lockdown.  Highlight was the nude run on 22nd April hosted by Mavis.  Various dress up tasks set by Mavis during the night.  Hilarious viewing.   Hash now back to normal Wednesday runs at 6pm.  3rd June at Tahuna.  28 hashers at recent run from Strokers.  The annual winter camp weekend at St Arnard was held on the weekend of 24-26 July. 

TAKAKA

Intermittent runs anyway so hibernation the norm, apart from hook-ups round the country with other Hash travellers.   Takaka hosted post lockdown run for Nelson hash. 

GARDEN CITY

Semi normal runs on now with run 2019 at Naval Cum and Lip Splitters.  16th June was the big 2020 run.  Epic night according to reports and photos.    

CHRISTCHURCH

AGM on Saturday 27th June. Latvian House Glasson St.  Wreck theme.  New GM IS Dingaling.  RLD won best dressed with Titanic get up.  SSS organising road trip from Christchurch to Winter Camp venue.  

DUNEDIN

Normal runs resuming (after lots of Zoom meets) Sunday June 7th at Vauxhaul Boat Club Portobello Rd.   Followed by Friday drinks at Kensington Tavern.  

 SOUTHERN FLYERS – INVERCARGILL

Hash was n hibernation during lockdown, but resumed with a run from Brewers home on June 8th and then back to the normal venue The Northern Tavern from the 15th.
